Ashley Authement Photography Gallery

Ashley Authement was born in Southwestern Louisiana. She began to study art in her late teens, and discovered photography shortly after. Deciding to dedicate her life to the art she loved so much, she enrolled in Louisiana State University in pursuit of a degree in photography and fine arts. She transferred to McNeese State University to focus on photography in a setting more suited to her needs. While at McNeese, Ashley studied under world-renouned photographer Ray Laskowitz.

Over the past few years, Ashley has won numerous awards and honors, including the Louisana State Photography Award of Excellence and the honor of being named the Parade Magazine Snapshot Top 5 October Finalist.

Ashley Authement has dispalyed her work in several galleries and exhibits, including the 1908 Gallery in Lake Charles, the Openings Exhibit, and McNeese University Gallery.

In 2009, Ashley will be displaying her work in the Orange County Festival of the Arts.

Currently, Ashley Authement lives in Southern California, where she spends her days taking pictures and soaking in the sun.
